Tuesday Nov 26, 2019

In this episode we sat down with the amazing Eve Simmons, Deputy Health Editor of the Mail on Sunday, Co-Author of ‘Eat It Anyway’ and the co-founder of NotPlantBased.com.
Eve shared with us her struggles in her early 20s and how the pressure to look a certain way at work lead to a serious battle with anorexia. She explains the psychological effects of the illness, her recovery and how so much more needs to be done to prevent people from succumbing to every day triggers.
After overcoming the illness, Eve has used her experiences to educate people on the importance of having a healthy relationship with food and how a lot of misinformation and diet fads is potentially eroding both our physical and mental well-being.
Across her portfolio of work, Eve talks to leading dieticians and experts to debunk the pseudo science and outdated research we’re over exposed to every day. Her message is to simply fall in love with food again and eat what you like!
We learned a great deal from this episode and we think you’ll get so much value from Eve’s story. Enjoy!

‘Orchestra’ and ‘Hip Hop’ don’t usually belong in the same sentence. But when Georgio Savvides, a classically trained musician and a self-confessed ‘Hip Hop Head’, founded The Hip Hop Orchestra and arrived on the scene just six years ago, he struck a chord with the music industry and global audiences alike.
Managing Director, creator, composer, conductor and pianist, there is more to be heard than his genius compositions. Georgio talks to us about overcoming major dyspraxia, being voted as a Top 5 producer in the UK, performing at XOYO and the O2, working with the likes of Lethal Bizzle, Logic, Mic Righteous, BBC 1Xtra and Lady Leshurr, his experience delivering a TED Talk and their interesting ordeal with Simon Cowell and Britain’s Got Talent.
His gift aside, Georgio’s remarkable ambition and work ethic is changing perceptions of classical music and forging the conversation about the importance of the Arts in modern education.
You can find The Hip Hop Orchestra on instagram @thehiphoporchestra and also check out some of their amazing performances on YouTube.
We hope you enjoy the episode.
